Emancipation

I've recently been emancipated in the state of Georgia, one of the very very few that the judge has actually approved for emancipation. What am I able to do now that I am emancipated at 17? I know I cannot yet vote, but could I work as a waitress? Get a tattoo? Buy a car? etc etc etc. If any one knows a page or information limiting an emancipated minor, I would appreciate the link! Thanks.

I don't know of any sites that spell out what you CAN do. What you CAN'T do, is anything that another law requires that you be 18 or older to do, such as vote, drink, smoke etc.

Also, while you CAN legally sign contracts, etc., that does not obligate a landlord, car dealer, etc. to do business with you if they choose not to.
