Arrested for "Drunk In Public" on my birthday nonetheless. Admittedtly I had been drinking (and admitted to a "drink or two," to the officers). Though never admitted to actually being "drunk." Additionally, I had taken an anti-anxiety medication the morning of the incident, which may have contributed to apparent inebriation. However, at no time was I beligerent, threatening, or vociferous towards officers or anyone else. Admittedly, I was speaking disrespectfully of the officers on the phone to another party (not even directly to officers), but never used profane language (curse words) of any kind (exact statement that seemed to set the officer into motion: "they have nothing better to do tonight").
