I cancelled a door to door sales contract with a company in GA on 7/9. They informed me by letter that I'd need to return the product before they could process the refund. They took delivery of the product on 8/25 (I have postal delivery confirmation). I have called them twice. On 9/22 they said my check was being cut/mailed that day. On 9/29 they said there had been a technical issue and the check was sent out on 9/26. It is 10/7 and I still don't have the refund check. Isn't there a 10-day rule for sending refunds on cancelled contracts? I did everything right. Now what?

This doesn't sound like a big deal and it seems everyone agrees on the issue, it's just a matter of getting there. It's possible the check was lost by mail. Call them and let them know. If there is an address or fax number, send them a written notice of the situation.
