My best friend got into a bad fight with her boyfriend in my back yard. I intervened and recieved a major hand injury with nerve surgery and permenant damage FROM HER BECOMING COMBATIVE WITH ME. I did nothing against her for this. Now, she is alleging my dog bit her and wanting to sue my homeowners insurance for alot of medical bills. Possibly as much or more damage than I recieved. Can I beat this since she was combative to me on my own property? And I consider her tresspassing as well because we told them to leave our property and not come back. This will raise my homeowners if I turn this in. And she was the one breaking the law.The only thing she has is medical bills/records, as so do I to prove I was injured. Can I counter sue and not turn in on homeowners?

She can sue you. You can sue her. Yes, I suggest you report her ALLEGATIONS to your insurer. They will defend you and sort this out for you.
