Divorcing a sex offender

My husband is a convicted sex offender. I've been trying to divorce him since the charges were filed in 2007. I was told that my divorce would be addressed after the criminal case was over, but it wasn't. I refiled in 2012 but I cannot get him served. He was convicted of raping my daughter, i am a single mother I cannot afford another atty. I have to get this divorce.

The judge who sentenced my husband is the same judge on my divorce case. Can I put myself on his docket and ask for my divorce to be granted?

A plaintiff or defendant doesn't get to docket his or her case.
A case gets docketed by the senior judge, or the presiding judge, usually the clerk for that particular judge.
I suppose, if you were to ask nicely, your request might be granted.

You don't always have to serve the other party in a divorce action.
In some cases, yours might qualify, you could serve him by publication.

In OK, both parties must attend a parenting class prior to the divorce being granted.
I'm not sure how that works when the other party has harmed the children.
You can visit a local attorney and ask a few questions for free during an initial consultation.

You might be able to have the parenting class requirement waived in your case.
The clerk of the court might be able to answer that question for you.

There are normally some small fees associated with this process, but its normally manageable for those on limited budgets, or you could try filing "in forma pauperis", that is as an "indigent". Google it for the court in which you are trying to get divorced.
