My divorce is final and i would like to keep the home, there is little or no equity in the home, it has a second mortgage also, i heard i may have to refinance the home to remove my ex's name off the mortgage and i am currently filing bankruptcy how can i refinance with bad credit and filing bankruptcy?

you may not be able to refinance with bad credit but if your ex wants off the house he can require you refi or the house be sold. His credit is ruined if you are late on payments.

So basically im not in a good position to acquire the house. If it forecloses does it go up for Sherrif sale or does the bank acquire it back and do they have a sale, I could possibly get a family member to get the home and i pay them.
