My Wife and I have been seperated for 25 years.We've seem to have lost contact. We have two grown children who haven't seen since I left Germany. I found on the internet that she has taken back her maiden name and she has seemed to move on with her life. There is one problem we are still married under the International law. Well I have international marriage license. I want to move on with my life but I don't know what to or who to contact about this problem. I understand that she could for divorce under abandement if so I have to show for it what options do I have if any.

Well you need to speak to an attorney to see what your options are. You probably will have to serve her with divorce papers.

If you left Germany and left no forwarding info, then it is possible your wife was able to obtain a divorce if you could not be located.

Seeing an attorney is your best option.
