Divorce Decree Statute of Limitations

My divorce was final in Sept 2008. The Decree called for $800k in cash to be paid to my ex,..... i paid $700k in Sept 08 ... I havent heard from her in 4 years Is there a statute of limitations on when she can demand the remaining?? Or will I be required to pay it for ever??

The court ordered you to pay the money. There is no SOL on court orders. If you don't pay the ex will have to drag you back in to court. After 4 years it doesn't seem that it will happen, and even if it does a change of circumstances could be in your favor.
I suggest you keep quiet and off the radar if possible.

It depends on your state actually. I think TX has a 2 year status of limitations, but then again this is family court so judges have been known to deviate. I would keep quiet and hope for the best.
