I have been served with a monmouth county sheriffs office levy upon my both my personal and real property in the amount of $565. This amount comes from a vet bill that i have disputed since october of 2007. This bill has now been turned over to a very disreputable collection agency/ law firm. I called the county clerk to get the proper procedure to make sure I have my say in court, but all the research i've done indicates i will be dealing with a judge who works specifically for Pressler and Pressler. Needless to say, i am now very nervous. I am not in a financial position to hire a lawyer. Any suggestions with this concern would be greatly appreciated.
