Our company was operating as an S-Corporation in 2002. The Texas Workforce Commission filed a tax lien against me in 2002 and this is showing up on my credit reports as an individual debt. Doesn't the S-Corp protect me from this? The lien was also released in 2002 but will stay on my credit reports for seven years. What is the best way to have this removed from my credit reports?
