I recently received mail from a lawyer identifying that they found out from the county clerks office that there was a judgement in the County Clerks office against me from Discover Card Services. I went and verified this is true. I am currently working with Nationwide Asset Services on paying off my debts and Discover is one of the creditors we are working with.
I have not received anything from the County Clerks office. Will I be receiving something officially from them with information and dates on it?
Are they able to freeze any of my bank accounts without any type of notice from the County Clerks office? If so, how soon will any action be taken.
