I'm facing a possible divorce in West Virginia. My primary income is a disability retirement issued in Maryland. I am also hoping for a Social Security disability award in the next few months. My wife also receives Social Security disability and runs her own business. Does anyone know if any portion of either my disability retirement or potential SSD would be susceptible to being awarded to my wife during the divorce? Also, the house and both cars are in my name - could any of those be awarded to her?
