I was working for a temporary service. They sent me to a distribution company in TN. While working I had a accident and tore my rotator cuff. I had surgery and was off work drawing $ 198 aweek in benifits. I was released to go back to work from the docter and he gave me a disability rating of 6% to the body as a whole. I talked to a attorney and he said the maximun I would be able to get was $6900 if I got that much. I said you have got to be kidding me. 6900 is a drop in the bucket for losing 6% of my body functions. I can't believe this. Does anyone know anything about the rating and how much it is actually worth. This attorney wants to go ahead and get me to settle as soon as possible. I told him no way. I am not stupid. Can anyone please give me some some information on this matter. I would appreciate it very much. I am totally confused.
