In 1983 I attended a deportation hearing and was told that I would hear back in 90 days. I never heard back from them. In 1984 my green card was approved and I went back to my country to pick up the final paperwork. My questions is will this disqualify me for receiving my citizenship. The other thing is that I was never aware of having to provide the INS with a change of address.

Please advice.

What have you been doing for the past 30+ years? I suggest speaking to an immigration attorney. Also, it hasn't been the INS since early 2003. It is now USCIS. www.uscis.gov.

If you have been working legally and applying for visa/green cards for 30 years without incident, I would not worry too much. You don't mention why you were to be deported though so it can't hurt to run it by an attorney.
