A U.S. Highway right of way easement was placed on my property in the 1920's, but was never used. Also, the highway was rebuilt in the 1990s, changing the placement of the highway. The highway continues to run adjacent to my property, but the actual road top is not in the same place. How do I go about having the easement removed from my property? Or, has it already dissolved? Please advise.
