delete account for deleting posts

Hi,
If I delete my account will my posts also be deleted..I don't want them up and can't see them being removed anytime soon, so just wondering if I delete my account for good will my posts disappear as well?

Oh ok, I put in a ticket request to have my post removed - is this the right thing to do or can a moderator such as yourself delete them for me? I would prefer not to have my post up any longer if possible.
