Delay of final paycheck

Hi,

I would like some advice. I resigned from my position and served my entire 30 days of notice as was on my contract letter and agreed upon by both parties (employer and employee . However, on resigning (Via Email) the organization expected me to do 60 days instead of 30 days, as there was no second in command for me. I had brought this to their notice and had highlighted that there needs to be a backup which went unheard. I was not able to serve more than the 30 days which is on my contract letter.

How its been over 45 days and they turn my settlement has been put on hold indefinately as my exit was not approved, and they were not happy with my handovers.

What should be my course of action?
 
To find a message board that specializes in Indian law and ask your question there. This one does not.
 
You can do a google search to find a forum for India law or ask a lawyer in your area.
