definition of a short term marriage

hi i live in massachusettes and got married in march of 2006. can someone please tell me how many years of marriage is considered SHORT TERM in massachusettes. i own my own home.......my name is the only one on the deed. we have no joint accounts. he only pays utilities (380-500 a month). i pay mortgage(1500). the home has lost value since i bought it and no renovations have been done and he hasn't put any $ into the house.
