I have sent a letter of intent to the other party involved. She made the comment to my husband that "She (me) may have sexually molested my daughter". I wrote that, of course, she knew that it wasn't true and that it was just an excuse to keep my husband and I from seeing the children. In the letter I told her to get in touch with everyone she might have told this lie to and then to get back to me within the month to rectify the situation or I would be forced to take her to court for Defamation of Character. It could not only destroy my family, and may have, I don't know who all she's told, but my business not to mention my reputation. From a 3rd party that she told it to we recieved a call to say she's begun to call people to tell them it wasn't true but I've yet to hear from her. So I guess I need to pursue the court thing. What kind of lawyer do I need? Is this a Family Court problem or something else?
