I was hoping someone would point me in the right direction, I will try and make this as painless as possible by listing in a crude but effective way the chain of events:
1) I broughta mobile phone from car phone warehouse in 2002/3
2)I returned the phone within the 30 days allowed, i was also on the limitless tariff(use the phone as long as u want and you wont get charged).
3) Now iam being told i owe them £100, and the company has passed the debt on.
4) I paid the money i owed them very early on, within a month of me recieving the first bill, i didnt think i owed them the money but paid it anyway because i returned the phone in 30 days, and couldnt be asked with the hassle!!
can they do this after such a long time?
Should i be asking for their paperwork?
Its so frustrating that you hear nothing for years, think all is fine and then all of a sudden when you have thrown away receipts etc they come back asking for more!!!
its rediculous, and we live in a democracy? more like a dictatorship of corporations who just take and take then take some more!!
Please help iam going mad here!
