Business Debt, Collections debit collection

After someone takes u to court and u ask to pay the debit in full. And they accept half the money. And now are harassing us now for the rest. Can they be that way

If they were awarded the full amount, they can certainly expect the balance. (unless they signed something accepting half as full payment) How are they harassing you?
