how many days in a row can an employer in new York make you work

Your employer can't make you work any days. You are in complete control of that.

What type of work do you do? Do you have any union policies that control scheduled time off?
If you are overworked, have you asked for more time off?

That depends on what you do. NY has a limited one-day-off-in-seven law which applies only to certain industries.

If you fall into one of these categories, the answer is six.

If you do not, then you could conceivably be required to work 365 days a year without it violating any laws.
