Six months ago my daughter and I were chased into our home and viciously attacked by our neighbors pit bull. My daughter received ten stitches in her face and I received two in my chest. We hired an attorney and my neighbor served him with papers a week or so later. He then turned them over to his homeowners and they contacted my attorney and told him that reserves would be set aside and that they would no longer be insuring my neighbor. Well just two days ago, they contacted my lawyer and said they are not liable because they were not aware of the pit bull. If this is the truth, and my neighbor lied or did not inform them of his dog are they not liable for any of my medical bills?

It doesn't make any difference what the insurance company says.

The guy may or may not be liable, whether or not he has insurance.

So sue him.
