i bought a vechile on H.P and had an investigator visit my home one year later to tell me the vechile was leased to the salesman i bought it from and should never have been sold to me, at this time i had already made payments totalling£20,000. The salesman was taken to court and filed bankruptcy. i was also taken to court the car was repossesed from me and i was told i still owed the vechile balance. I lost £20,000 and now have no car but gained a default for the balance oweing on vechile!! can i appeal or at least get some compensation from the original vechile company this salesman leased the car from as they are the ones who claim the car is theirs HELP.
