i need to know if the credit card company is telling the truth and if they are i need to convince my husband of their demands.
i owe $1900 to chase manhattan credit cards. they are offering me a settle ment of $1100 by next week or i will be summond to court and face a lien on my home. can they really do this??? and if so, doesnt that mean i'm left with court cost and they can pull interest from the lien? my husband doenst believe they will do anything, and we should just let them go to court.
at this point will they not take any other offer over the phone, such as trying to pay it off monthly?
