Credit Card Debt - Bank Acct Levy

My wife and I have a large amt of credit card debt. The collection companies are unwilling to accept the small amount we can pay. I am concerned about a judgement and garnishing my bank account. My wife is a student and will finish in 1.5 yrs, then we can pay. Our checking account has my paycheck and excess student loan funds deposited only. We have 2 small children and cannot live on any less. Am I in danger of losing any monies from my bank account? That is my main concern; getting thru the next year and a half, then we will be fine. We have 7 credit cards that have been charged-off 20K tot.
