My mother in law is 75 years old and lives in a government subsidised apartment in Florida. She received a summons regarding a credit card which the creditor states that she owes $4200 plus $4000 in interest. She does not remember receiving a letter regarding a "Stipulation for Entry of Final Judgment Execution" letter which was attached to the summons with no date printed on the letter. She lives off of about $640 per month from Social Security. She has no assets, just her clothing and furniture. If the judgment is granted for the plantiff, can the creditor freeze or seige her bank account?
