Convicted of Speeding in VA live in NC

Hi all,
Okay I was convicted of speeding 80.65 in VA, will pay the fine etc. but I wondered if there is the slight possibility that VA will not report it to NC. I know that we share info. between certain states and that NC and VA share that relationship. I have heard though that sometimes it will not be reported....is that true.

Just trying to avoid the insurance hike...

Check with the NC DMV and/or a lawyer to see what will happen WHEN this comes back.
Depending on previous convictions, you are on the threshold for your licence to be suspended for a minimum 30 days (80 and 15 over).

It can take 1 - 3 years before this happens (automatically) and it is very expensive to mitigate at that point.
