I just today recieved a "warrant roundup" letter from a Texas county I previously lived in. In August of 2002, I was told by a TABC officer that I would be recieving a call from the county about a court appearance regarding a "contributing to minor" offense that I had full intentions of disputing due to the circumstances of the offense. Two weeks went by and I did not receive a call, so I called the county and they advised me that there was no record of an offense for me. I spoke with my attorney and he advised me that the offense my have not be filed (possibly due to the circumstances) and not to "rock the boat". I was pulled over for minor traffic offenses twice within the next three years and no offenses or warrants were on my record.

So, I now look at a piece of paper from my previous county stating I have a warrant. It has now been almost 4 years since the alleged offense. What should I do?
