I have worked with this same employer before and was qualified for a job more recently and hired.
My employer and I agreed, signed a months contract.
After 2 weeks I was told I could not finish the job and let go.
Questions
1). Is my contract still binding?
2) Do they have to pay me lost wages?
3) When I sign a contract, how many days do I have to cancel?
I have been told 3 working days is this true?

If you signed a contract then you need to look at the words on the contract. Is it cancelable? Is there an early termination clause? Were you hired to do a job for 30 days and then they decided to terminate you early? It all depends upon the way the contract was worded.
