The contract where I am employed is about to end on the last day of 2001 and I am not renewing. One of the clauses in the agreement was that the employer would set up a medical plan that I could join and have a portion of my paycheck used to pay for these benefits. Well, that medical plan has never been established and I have been paying for health insurance for my family the entire duration of the contract. Is a suit against my employer for breach of contract worthwhile? I do not know the kind of damages such a breach could warrant. Thanks for any help.

It would seem that you would sue for the amount of the insurance you paid that should have been paid by the employer under the contract plus interest. If the breach was willful, you may get attorneys fees and/or punitive damages as well. I'd ask for them.
