Two of my friends and I saw a bag of bagels and a box of pastries on a stool locked behind a gate. We took a piece of wood, knocked the bagels over, and slid it out the gate. As we were slipping the pastries out, the cops came and arrested the three of us.
20 hours later we were released with six charges:
Criminal Conspiracy F
Burglary F1
Criminal Mischief M
PIC M1
Theft-Unlawful Taking M1
Theft- RSP M1
This was in the Philadelphia court system. We are three college students who have no idea what to do, or what we're even facing. We can't really afford a lawyer, so we are hoping the public defendant will be able to help us out. But we know this is incredibly serious. We just don't want jail time. Can anyone offer any suggestions? Please?
