Hi,
My green card expired as of 06/14/2013, I filed for renewal a month before it was going to expire. I went for finger prints on 06/06 and they put a sticker indicating that "validity of green card has been extended to 03/2014" on back of my card.
I am illegible to apply for citizenship in august. My question is can I use my old card (which is now valid till march 2014) or should I wait till I get my new card which they said could take upto six months?

Your old card will be just fine.

It's the card which expired, not your status

Agree, don't see a problem with old card - they put a sticker as you indicated that it was valid until 3-2014.
