My wife and I were cited for snowmobiling in Turn, NY without being registered in NY. The sleds have full insurance and registered in my home state PA. We did not know this when we went to NYS to snowmobile. We pleaded guilty with an attached letter stating we were not aware of this law. The court in Turn, NY fine each driver 285.00. I feel that this fgine is way out of left field for the offense. What are my options to fight this or get it reduced.
