An incident took place on this past cinco de mayo, between a friend of mine and a male coworker. He (34) had decided to have a couple of people over at his house, and supplied alcohol (charged the guests for it). Guests included me (19), my female friend (19) and another coworker (21). Being a bartender he prepared drinks for everyone and everyone became intoxicated. The incident takes place when he decides that everyone should play wii. For those unfamiliar with it, it is a video game that involves actually movement. The end result is my female friend ended up losing her grip on the controller and it hit and broke his tv. She has already agreed to pay for the television, but due to bills she cant do it all at once. He is now pursing legal action against her to garnish her wages and possibly put a lean against her car. Is she completly at fault for the incident, or because he purchased the alcohol for minors (those under 21) is the responsibility shared?
