Can a women who is legally separated, but not divorced claim child support from someone who who she became pregnant by who is not her spouse?

I thought a women who is legally separated, but not officially divorced, would be committing Adultery. Meaning Child Support cannot be honored.

Adultery has nothing to do with child support. If a woman is married and has a child, that child is presumed to be her spouse's child until it is proven in court otherwise. The child isn't made to suffer and go without support because one parent stepped out on their marriage.

And if the child is found Not be the spouses? Can a women claim child support from another man, while she was married to another?

If a DNA test proves the man who is NOT her husband is the father, eventually she could seek child support from the man who is the baby's father.

Why should the man who is her spouse, but not the baby's father support YOUR child?

In many cases, when her husband learns of her wayward ways, a divorce ensues.

It used to work that way, but these days with DNA testing that can prove you to be the father.
