I have physical custody of my 17 yr old daughter but she lives with her father, off and on since 2004. He's recently taken me back to Hanover County Va Circuit Court for child support and his lawyer was able to convince the judge that I make more money than I do (yes there were pay documents from my employer but the lawyer calculated my monthly income by 26 times a year instead of 24 and I was not able to explain the difference). I didn't have a lawyer because of my ex-husband taking me to court so many times in the past that I'm bankrupt. Just today my daughter moved into her grandmothers' home. My questions are, 1) how and where do I appeal to lower my child support payments and 2) can I appeal to the court to send the support to the grandmother?
