Child support eligibility

I am wondering I have a baby and the father my now ex who is on the birth certificate is not the biological father of our son but he knew that the whole time now we are broken up I am wondering is he still responsible to pay child support

You need a Canadian forum.

If this happened in the US though, the guy on the birth certificate would be the legal father - with all the rights and obligations it carries.
