My sister was recently arrested for basically being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The DEA FTA and Houston police were involved in the arrest. She went to a minority neighborhood to speak to a former coworker who had no phone or access to the internet. She was pulled over and was told that she had purchased crack. When they failed to find any drugs, she was strip searched in the bathroom of a gas station nearby.
During the strip search there was only one officer present. The only illegal substance found was a ''roach" in the ashtray her car. She was jailed for three days. When brought before the judge the charges were dismissed. Will this be on her record? The judge seemed angry that they were wasting his time with the ridiculous charge. Will this follow her for the rest of her life. It wasn't even 2 grams of marijuana that was found. Any advice?
