change name on lease

i and my husband have sign a commercial contrack 2 years ago . now we plan to devoice how can i remove my name on the lease i have nothing to do with his company? i have a house under my name , how do i portect my properte?

You can ask your landlord if you can remove your name from this commercial lease but ALL (your husband, the landlord and you) involved must agree to this change. If all agree, get this in writing.

If your landlord does not agree to this, you would still be responsible for the rent until the lease naturally expires.
