So out daughter has been in a home primary for 6 year and forced to go to grandma every weekend we just hired a cfi because in the current court order it said we were bound by what ever the cfi recommdations were. So now what they recommended in our favor but the grandparents disagree so how often do judges listen to the reports?

We don't have complete information here to know entirely what is going on in regard to your daughter. However, you will have to wait & see what the judge/court decides. I'm sure the recommendation in your favor will be considered. There are always two sides to consider.

WOW, CFI (Child & Family Investigator, which used to be known in your state as a SA -special advocate) involved in your case, huh?.
Public opinion varies about the usefulness or helpfulness of a CFI.
Looks like things are about to go your way, so congratulations, just be patient a little bit longer.
If the CFI supports you, the other party has a right to argue their point, so hang in there.
If it goes as normal, you're going to come out exactly where you wanted to be.

Overall, many legal experts across your state hold CFIs in varying degrees of regard.
Its not about the people, per se, but about the state reduction or cap on fees at $2,000 a couple years ago.
As you can imagine, the better CFIs dropped out of the program.

If you are dissatisfied with the outcome in your case because of the CFI, you remain free to file a complaint against the one involved in your matter.
