Car Accident in company vehicle

I work for a ready mix company and i am a mixer driver. i was in an accident where the other driver ran a red light and i slammed in to the side of him "t bone" in the intersection. impact was hard enough to send my truck off the road and into a drainage ditch. at the time i was a 36k lbs and was going 35 mph. my question is i had multiple injuries ranging from spine and neck injuries to cuts and bruises. i was out of work for 3 days and been on light duty since then. haven't been able to do my daily job driving a mixer. what kind of action can i due in pursuant of the other driver. or is everything going through my company.

i dont know anything about legal stuff.

The first thing you should be doing is collecting WC. My understanding is usually, WC has the right to offset (reclaim) anything you obtain as a settlement from the other driver or their insurance, up to WC expenditure. I cannot see that CA would be different. This is an unsubstantiated opinion.
