Hi, I am wondering how to go about this? I am Canadian and he is an American soldier stationed in Tennessee. He deploys to Iraq Fall 2005 for a year and we wish to marry when we returns. What do we do? Will I lose my Canadian citizenship? Will he gain Canadian citizenship? What do we do?

I am Canadian, currently visiting my fiance in the USA. He is in the army and is leaving for Iraq this Winter. We want to get married before he leaves.
What forms do we need to get married in the US? Will i be able to stay in the US until and after we get married?

I would say go ahead and get married.

"If you are married to a U.S. citizen who is a member of the U.S. Armed Forces and your citizen spouse is or will be deployed abroad by the Armed Forces for one year, you may be eligible for expedited naturalization under section 319(b) of the INA. For more information, please refer to the USCIS handbook, "A Guide to Naturalization" (page 22) at http://uscis.gov/graphics/services/natz/English.pdf."

Congradulations and Good Luck
