In September 2006, my husband was charged with assault, criminal damage, and threatening. He went to court in February 2007 and was found not guilty. He just received a letter that states "charge to be added to existing docket". He is being charged with 2 of the same charges he was just found not guilty for, can this be done???

This is not legal Advice!

Hey,

Your Quote: He just received a letter that states "charge to be added to existing docket". He is being charged with 2 of the same charges he was just found not guilty for, can this be done???

Charge to be addad means there is another charge but if it is the same two charges as before then unless there is new evidence or proof of missconduct in the first trial, then i would presume he it would be very hard to go back to the case that has already been cleared up once already.

Speek to the lawyer you first used on this case and he should be able to shine a light better than us because he is familuar with your case file.

Good luck
