Can I sue?

I want to rent 2 storage units. Both customer service Nor store manager advised me on phone I would have to pay an extra insurance policy. I have this conversation on my cell. I also was emailed paperwork that did not show this. I was only advised when I got to the storage unit. What do I do. I don't have time to run around all over Syracuse. Julia

Most storage rental facilities will waive the "buy insurance through them" requirement IF you show proof you have renters or homeowners insurance that will cover your property.

Do you have renters or homeowners insurance?

If you do, inform the facility, and show your proof.

And it was their responsibility to notify you that more storage means more insurance because...?

You follow their rules or go somewhere else. So they didn't cover everything over the phone. It happens.

The gist of your post seems to be that all of the terms and conditions of a storage unit rental agreement were not explained to you until you arrived at the storage location and read the agreement. And you want to sue over this.

Is that right?

Seriously?
