Eviction Notice California eviction laws in home with multiple lodgers

I need to know if the landlord has to give me notice to evict me I live in his home with multiple lodgers
Probably, maybe, but why wait?
Any notice to vacate is meaningless.
You can ignore any such notice.
What you can't ignore is any official court document.
Only a court can evict you.
All a landlord can do is ask you to leave.
If you ignore the request, you force the landlord to take you to court.
In your state, evictions take months, but it depends on your county.
The mere filing of an eviction can harm your ability to rent decent housing for decades.
Why not just discuss the situation, negotiate a compromise move out date, and agree to let each other alone until you leave?
