About 3 years ago I had boyfriend stole a graded coin I had at home as I had , still have sever depression and am disabled. I purchased coin graded had a error, had regarded , and had in safespot til I could get out of bed to auction coin but he stole it, consigned it, I have paperwork , loaned $4000 on coin and at the time pawn shop owner had someone else working while having liver transplant . I finally came up with $4500 to get my coin back and called down before doing so and owner of pawn shop said my coin was stolen and he could not give me it back nor knew the value of coin as when graded it was finest in the world known. I looked up my time statues and believe it's 6 years and have gave boyfriend 3 years to pay me $11,000 , what I paid buying and regrading . I have witnesses from people who own other coin shops he brought my coin to consign at 1st , plus I have original copy of consignment agreement which has no date pending . Please help me find a lawyer who will deal with this as I can not pay now but with owners statement to me being I'm sorry you will have to take us to court so we can estimate value of the coin and find his worker who stole it from shop, as he stated that's why he has ins. For matters like this. He was very sorry and understanding . Coin was also listed on eBay but I'm not positive on dates as I was having a lot of family and health issues.
