Hello about 4 months ago i wrote a check out of my business account. The check was dishonored and i have since gone out of business, the accounts are closed and i am working for another company and not for myself anymore The company I wrote the check to is threatening to take me to court and press criminal charges the only reason the check bounced and that I am no longer in business is that we couldnt collect from our customer am I really going to get in trouble for this. I didnt intentionally write a bad check and have offered to make payments to cover the check but they wont take a partial payment what can I do
