I bought a 96 Suzuki Sidekick for 300.00. The problem is DMV says the signature on bill of sale is different then the signature on title. I was told to send a certified letter to Seller and have them sign it and return in 14 days. Either bring the new signed bill of sale into office or if non deliverable bring that proof in and they will issue a new title. The letter was non deliverable so I brought it in. Now in the mean while the car has old tags and has not had a smog check but I did purchase insurance and got a 30 day moving permit. So I was now told I have to get a bonded title. I dont want a bonded title and have tried to find this person by going by the 3 addresses she has on paperwork but cant located her. Why am I being put through all this because of this signature. The car is old not reported stolen and O already bought a battery and few other things that were needed and now registration is late 30 day moving permit expired and I am a disabled senior on disability. What can I do now for I am getting im deeper money wise?
