What is a conditional bond?

Conditional bonds, besides placing a monetary bail, require defendants to do things, such as: take a drug test daily/weekly, report in to pre-trial services daily/weekly, stay away from a named person, don't use a computer, don't use the internet, not possess any weapons, usually something restrictive, as in don't do this or that, but occasionally something mandated as report to Officer Blow daily, call probation daily, etc...
